2018 Art Star Pop Up Market at Cherry Street Pier Rules and Regulations
All vendors must agree to these terms before participating.
Each participant will receive a 10′ x 10′ space. Vendors must provide everything needed for set-up, display & sales. The Art Star Pop Up Market at Cherry Street Pier is a RETAIL show, not a wholesale show.
Cancellation is rare and would only take place under the most extreme circumstances (i.e. extreme or dangerous weather; events outside of our control that would put our customers, vendors, and staff at risk; acts of a 3rd party, etc). In the extremely rare event of cancellation, no refunds will be given and the show will not be rescheduled.
Vendors are not permitted to sell any mass produced, vintage, food/drinks, or items made by another artist. Only YOUR handmade work is permitted to be sold.
Vendors must be set up and ready to sell by 11am, both days. Load in instructions will be provided in a separate email. Any vendor who arrives late or who is not set up by 11am may not be accepted to participate in future shows.
Do not begin to break down until the close of the show. Any vendor who packs up early may not be accepted into future shows. If there is an emergency and you need to leave, please let us know.
We will hire a security guard to watch over the vendor area from 6pm Saturday until the venue closes at 11pm. If you decide to leave your goods and display overnight, it is at YOUR OWN RISK. If you do decide to leave your set up overnight, we recommend that you cover it.
Art Star will not be responsible for any loss or damage to Vendor’s property, injury to, or death of vendor (or its agents, employees, and or personnel) or Vendor sales. Vendors are responsible for protecting their property at all
times. Art Star recommends that all vendors obtain event insurance in case of loss or damage.
Vendor agrees to forever indemnify, save and hold Art Star LLC, Megan Brewster, and Erin Waxman and all affiliated agents and officials, representatives, beneficiaries, employees and volunteers harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, injuries, liabilities, losses, suits, costs, expenses (including attorney’s fees) for anything and everything whatsoever arising from or out of Vendor’s participation at the Art Star Pop Up Market at Cherry Street Pier.
Vendors are solely responsible for obtaining any necessary licenses and permits to do business in Philadelphia. Please note Art Star does not assume responsibility for collecting any of these.
