The Art Star Craft Bazaar is an award winning retail art/craft show that is organized and juried by Art Star, Philadelphia’s leading purveyors of quality handmade goods.  This upcoming show will mark the 13th year of Art Star’s Flagship Spring Art Star Craft Bazaar, which has been named Best of Philly by Philadelphia Magazine in 2010 + 2012. The show has become a beloved shopping tradition for Philadelphians and attracts thousands of visitors annually. Art Star has a brick n mortar shop in Northern Liberties where you can also shop curated handmade goods year round!

The ASCB will be back on Mother’s Day Weekend at the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing, right along the Delaware River. Shop for mom on Saturday and bring mom along on Sunday for a fun family day along the waterfront. Megan Brewster and Erin Waxman of Art Star have curated a line-up of over 125 quality art + craft vendors from the region and beyond. Each vendor will be set up in a 10×10 foot space throughout the Great Plaza and will also extend along Walnut Plaza nearby the Seaport Museum. Vendors will be selling a variety of handmade goods and gifts.  The show will feature a good balance of returning Art Star favorites and also vendors that are fresh and new to the show. Shoppers can expect affordable and quality handmade goods such as pottery, jewelry, accessories, home goods, stationery, clothing, baby goods, fine art prints, original art and more!

A selection of local artists / art organizations will be providing interactive art/craft booths and “Make + Takes”. Look for Little Chair Printing‘s Bicycle Screen Printing Shop, Carve your own stamp with West Oak Design, Make a Small Pin from recycled remnant fabric with Craft Space, and Create a Terrarium with The Art Dept. Take home your creations as a keepsake or give as a gift! The Make + Takes are Free, with the exception of Little Chair Printing’s project. Buy a T-shirt from her to print for $10 or bring your own Tee to print for just $5! Our event sponsor, Butcher’s Sew Shop, will also be on site demonstrating sewing techniques. Make sure to stop by their booth to check that out and learn about their awesome sewing classes and workshops that they offer at their Queen’s Village studio.

DJ and Production Manager, Ed Christof is back to curate a weekend of Live Music by local bands. Music starts at 12 each day and a new band plays every hour. Last band will take the stage at 5. Full Line-Up HERE

Cut + Paste Photobooth will be set up with their festive backdrop and fun props to snap your pic to commemorate the day!

Soy CafePoi Dog Snack Shop (Saturday Only), Sum Pig Food Truck (Sunday Only),  Oink and Moo BBQ (Saturday Only), and Kung Fu Hoagies (Sunday Only) will be on site to feed the masses, along with the Great Plaza’s usual festival food/drink vendors.
